Made in Australia by Thunderbird AG in Mudgee NSW, adapted from a Weigh Crate.
Features automated back gate closure as soon as the weight of the sheep is on the platform, front gate manually operated and back gate automatically opens for the next sheep when the ewe moves forward out of the Scanning Crate.
The only Scanning Crate on the market that can be easily adapted to a weigh crate with the addition of weigh bars and a scale indicator allowing the operator to do two jobs.
Convenient sized opening in the side of the crate to allow the operator to lean in when scanning.
Can be fitted with a three-way draft gate and mobility wheels for those that need to move the Scanning Crate from Farm to Farm.
Open design allows great movement of sheep with no solid panels to balk movement.
